Miss OoLaLa
Miss OoLaLa is an award winning cosplayer based in Lafayette, La. She is an experienced EVA foam smith and seamstress, and loves the challenge of creating screen accurate, gravity-defying wigs. Her passion is building cosplays to compete craftsmanship competitions, and hosting panels that teach other skills for building their own cosplays. She is most well-known for her cosplay of Himiko Toga, and travels to conventions all over the country with the character’s English dub VA, Leah Clark as her “live action Toga mascot”. Outside of cosplay she’s a broadcaster, voice over artist, and works in the field of audio production.
Session
This panel delves into the world of competing in craftsmanship based competitions. Learn about different types of contests, how to choose your division, and more! I’ll be discussing in detail how to create a build book, what to focus on in your 3 to 5 minutes of pre-judging to stand out to the judges, as well as what most cosplay judges want to see (and don’t want to see!)
